ABOUT

 

The Wisdom of One is an educational program developped by a group of educators together with Shaul Youdkevitch by the full name: "The Wisdom of One" – Universal Ethics and Values for the empowerment of the individual, the family, and society.

 

This program will accommodate audiences from different backgrounds based on the values that most of humanity identify with and unfortunately are not learned enough in most existing educational systems.

 

Program Features:

 

  • The program is intended for all ages and all religions

  • The program is educational, operative and applicable for any number of persons, in varying methods and at all levels, from a micro level of the individual, group or community, to a macro level of society at large

  • The program is multi-faceted. Lessons are comprised of activities and varying educational styles designed to activate diverse intellectual understandings of the participants. Each lesson or content experience in the community lessons includes creative projects, games, group and individual activities, designed to illustrate and impart the ethics and principles of the subject matter.

  • The program is workable in varying approaches: Beginners and advanced courses, workshops, one-time trials or series, demonstration of concepts in the promotion of regional projects, development of experiential means to exemplify the information, development of an interactive museum, construction of a theme park

  • Program tools can be tailored to suit a culture, sector, and language as necessary within short periods of time

  • The basic program is divided into topics. Each topic is based on a rationale of values and is structured to include definition of the topic, goals and purpose for the student, outline of concepts to be studied, and learning tools (frontal teaching, exercises, training and experiencing)

  • Each topic is the basis for a series of lessons, meetings, lectures, and group and individual exercise, in order to practice and incorporate the related ethics and values.

First pilots are planned at this stage in Israel and in South Florida. More details will be published in the future.

Volunteers Needed

​

1. Educators and coaches with teaching experience who'd like to participate the early stage of the program who live in Israel or in South Florida.

 

2. People who can Produce short content videos (up to 15 minutes) to be used as presentations during the meeting as part of the curriculum.

 

3. People who can translate the program curriculum from Hebrew into English  for the U.S. pilot.

Vision, Ethics & Values

 

  1. Each individual has the right to live in happiness and security, liberty and independence, freedom of creativity, to control his destiny and fulfill all raw potential given him from birth – in harmony with his environment.

  2. A healthy human society is based on the value system of the principle “Love thy neighbor as thyself” (mutual respect, tolerance and non-violence, giving, caring, mutual responsibility, etc.) at government, communal, and personal levels.

  3. Societal economic and governmental structures and institutions are to create tools to secure the existence of a healthy society incorporating the rights of the individual and their long-term preservation, and act upon these.
